First Responders Attend Vital Training on Hybrid Electric Vehicles
First responders across Missouri recently attended vital training in Joplin to learn the safest way to respond to crashes involving hybrid electric vehicles and vehicles with advanced airbag systems.
With hybrid cars and airbag safety features becoming more common, it’s essential that first responders to crash sites know how to handle the potential dangers of undeployed airbags and high-voltage vehicle battery systems. Other training sessions will be held around the state.

MoDOT's Web Map Tracks Winter Road Conditions

As snow arrives in Missouri this winter, up-to-the-minute road conditions are available on MoDOT's online traveler information map at www.modot.org. The map will be updated continuously through any storms to show whether major roads are clear, partly covered, covered or closed. Traveler Map

MoDOT Tracks Its Performance

MoDOT’s Tracker is a tool to assess how well the department delivers its services and products. Much like a GPS tracking system, this tool can only show the direction in which the department is headed. It is published quarterly to ensure accountability and allow MoDOT's customers to see the progress made towards results. Tracker
