First Responders Attend Vital Training on Hybrid Electric Vehicles
First responders across Missouri recently attended vital training in Joplin to learn the safest way to respond to crashes involving hybrid electric vehicles and vehicles with advanced airbag systems.
With hybrid cars and airbag safety features becoming more common, it’s essential that first responders to crash sites know how to handle the potential dangers of undeployed airbags and high-voltage vehicle battery systems. Other training sessions will be held around the state.

MoDOT Tracks Its Performance

MoDOT’s Tracker is a tool to assess how well the department delivers its services and products. Much like a GPS tracking system, this tool can only show the direction in which the department is headed.
