MoDOT Bridge Inspection Update

A further search of bridge records has identified three additional bridges with deck truss spans -- a similar design to the bridge in Minneapolis. MoDOT will inspect all 11 bridges it is responsible for, and ask neighboring states to inspect the three bridges they are responsible for. Inspections are under way, and will be complete in five weeks. The Hurricane Deck bridge inspection in central Missouri is already complete and found to be safe - Hurricane Deck bridge.
