| The Missouri Department of Transportation has a great program that keeps our roadways beautiful by eliminating litter and debris.
MoDOT’s Adopt-A-Highway program recently celebrated its 20-year anniversary, and participating volunteers just like your organization help make Missouri a wonderful place to live and visit.
Currently we have numerous miles of major roadway ready for adoption in your area, and many more miles of secondary routes as well. We are searching for volunteers to continue this great program to provide a clean environment for our state.
MoDOT truly needs your help. We do not have the resources to keep all 32,000 miles of roadway litter free.
Please take a moment to review the enclosed brochure and discuss the program with your organization. It is only by the dedication of our volunteers that Missouri’s roadsides are something we can all be proud of.
Won’t you join the nearly 4,000 adopters in Missouri by volunteering to keep a section of roadway in your community free of litter and debris? A sign will be erected on either end of your adopted section of roadway with the name of your organization. Motorists on that roadway will know whom to thank for making their travels a memorable experience.
Thank you for considering this program. For more information, please contact us
