MoDOT's Design Division administers the Safe Routes to School program which provides safer biking and walking accommodations for children in grades K-8. The program is designed to provide public awareness and outreach efforts and improve biking and walking conditions around schools.

Grantees
If you have received a grant, you must complete parent surveys and teacher tally sheets before the project begins and after the project has ended. This is a requirement for both infrastructure and noninfrastructure grants. These forms will be used to determine the effectiveness of the program. You must also submit a Data Entry Cover Sheet for each school affiliated with the project. The documents are located below:
