Leadership - Chief Engineer

Kevin
Keith is the chief engineer of the
Missouri Department of Transportation in Jefferson City, Missouri,
a position he assumed July 1, 2001. As chief engineer, Keith
coordinates MoDOT road and bridge design, and the construction
and maintenance activities statewide. Keith has been Director
of Planning, northwest district engineer and held jobs in construction,
design and planning at the Central Office in Jefferson City
as well as in the central, St. Louis and Springfield area districts.
Keith graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with
a bachelor's degree in civil engineering in 1982. He is a licensed
professional engineer in the state of Missouri. Keith serves
on the following AASHTO committees: Standing Committee on Highways,
Standing Committee on Research, Special Committee on US Route
Numbering, and the Standing Committee on Highway Traffic Safety.
He is also a member of the Missouri Society of Professional
Engineers.
Highlights of his career include heavy involvement in the construction
of the new Missouri River Bridge at Jefferson City and project
manager of the Ozark Mountain Highroad.
Keith and his wife, Lori, have two children.
