The Missouri Department of Transportation, Facilities Management, has determined that only one source can provide the department with vertical heated storage tanks for emulsified asphalt.  No other firm supplies this equipment with a 10 gauge steel secondary containment shell with installation on up to 8’ legs.  Contract(s) for up to 12-tanks statewide over a 12-month period may be executed with Crafco Distributors.

The electronics of this equipment is unique to the manufacturer’s equipment and therefore it must be supplied by Ames Engineering, Inc. The Missouri Department of Transportation, Information Systems has determined that only one source, IntelliThink LLC, Kansas City, KS, can complete the third phase of the Express to Success Program developed by IntelliThink LLC.  This program was implemented by MoDOT in 2005.  IntelliThink LLC developed program materials and provided mentoring and coaching to various employees.  Phase III of this program will require the contractor to have extensive knowledge of existing MoDOT Division and District organizational structure, as well as detailed knowledge of the Express to Success Program.   Purchases for various project services exceeding $200,000 individually and/or cumulatively may be made throughout November 1, 2007 to December 31, 2008.
