April 29, 2011 |
The Missouri Department of Transportation District 7 has determined that Don McBride of Logan County Asphalt Co. in Guthrie, Oklahoma, developed and owns exclusively the proprietary design of ProLine TM cold asphalt pot hole patch material. ProLine TM is a polymer modified high performance cold asphalt pot hole patching material. ProLine TM carries a long shelf life, it remains in good working condition in extreme cold weather, it adheres to both concrete and asphaltic surfaces that are dry, damp or wet. ProLine TM can be purchased in both bags or bulk. ProLine is very versatile and flexible in the ways it can be used which in turn cause it to be a very cost effective material. April 26, 2011 |
The Missouri Department of Transportation District 7 has determined that Leo Journagan Construction can provide the department with asphaltic material that will result in cost, fuel and time savings. Journagan has been awarded a project on Route 52 in Bates County and will be set up to run hot mix at the Butler quarry. This plant is located 3 miles from the job that is requiring an additional 1200 tons of hot mix. Journagan has agreed to honor the contracted drop price for the Rte 52 Overlay project at $49.44 per ton of hot mix. Utilizing this hot mix from Journagan at the Butler quarry versus driving to Blevins at Carthage will save truck operations cost @ $1.60 per mile for a 90 mile trip as well as a cost savings in fuel and time. The amount of this purchase is estimated to be approximately $60,000. Please direct questions regarding this SFS to Cathy Bay at (417) 621-6354 or via email at Cathy.Bay@modot.mo.gov |

Apr 8, 2011 |
