The City of Kearney continues to grow and thrive, creating the need to provide safety and capacity improvements along Route 92. The current two-lane roadway allows no storage for left turns, causing traffic congestion on Route 92.
The city approached the Missouri Department of Transportation to make plans for improvements on Route 92 from just east of Interstate 35 to Nation Road.
An open-house style public hearing was held on Tuesday, Jan. 24 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Kearney City Hall to gather public input regarding the location and design for the proposed project.
