Kansas City Area Engineers
The goal of the Area Engineer is to have one person knowledgeable of, and able to coordinate all department activities including design, construction and maintenance in a particular geographical area. The District Engineer will continue to be responsible for long-term, strategic business and operations of the entire district. However, the Area Engineer will handle the day-to-day business for a specific area and be located in that area.
