The Safe & Sound Bridge Improvement Program is a safe, innovative and cost-effective way to quickly rebuild and rehabilitate Missouri’s highway bridges by 2013.

A total of 145 bridges will be improved in Pettis, Saline, Platte, Clay, Ray, Jackson, Lafayette, Cass and Johnson counties, the counties that comprise the Kansas City district.
