MoDOT Carrier Express puts YOU in charge. Don't wait for our office to open, send your request now- whether it's noon or midnight.

All applications received Monday-Friday by 5 p.m. Central Time are processed for issue the same business day. Permits submitted after

5 p.m. are processed by noon the next business day.

Permits are usually issued within 60 minutes. If yours has not arrived within an hour, check the status of your request on the system. "Held" means corrections are needed to your application. "Pending" means MCS's review process is not complete.

Credit Card Payments

MCS accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and AmericanExpress credit or debit cards. Please note: the credit card processing company charges a convenience fee.

Getting Started

Please Note

Effective Nov. 16, 2006, Java Version 1.5.0_06 is required for the online OD/OW permit application.

Newer versions of Java are NOT COMPATIBLE with the online OD/OW permit application. ONLY Version 1.5.0_06 will work.

To get a UserID and password, complete the New Customer Form and use the contact information at the top of the sheet to fax it to us.

Please provide your exact company name and address (it must match the records you filed with the Secretary of State your firm is a corporation). Complete the entire form, making sure your answers match the information you provided to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Check their records at www.safersys.org.
