MoDOT Statement Regarding Amendment 3 Election Results

The following statement is the official response of the Missouri Department of Transportation to yesterday's passage of Amendment 3.   No additional information will be available before the Nov. 10 meeting of the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission.

"The passage of Amendment 3 is good news for Missouri's roads and bridges.   There are many roads in Missouri that desperately need to be improved, and this funding will give us a good start.  

"We're working on a plan to make the most of this new funding.   We'll be discussing our options at the Nov. 10 meeting of the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission in Jefferson City."
