Fly-Coat Operation to Begin on Route DD in Chariton County

MACON - Missouri Department of Transportation maintenance crews will apply a fly-coat on Route DD in Chariton County Monday, October 18 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.   The process will begin at the Routes 129 and DD intersection and continue to the Routes D and DD intersection.  

A fly-coat operation is a preventative maintenance process used to extend the life of the driving surface.  

The roadway will be closed to through traffic during this process.   Motorists are encouraged to exercise caution in the area.
