Two State Roads in Polk County
Closed
For 1-2 Days Starting Monday, June 20
MoDOT, District 8, Springfield --
Two state highways in Polk County will be closed for one or two
days each early the week of June 20, the Missouri Department of
Transportation said.
MoDOT maintenance crews plan to tear
out and replace drain pipes that run underneath the roads.
Here's the schedule, although rain
will cause delays:
* 8 a.m. Monday, June 20 -- Route
V halfway between Humansville and Flemington will be closed.
The road will remain closed overnight
into Tuesday if the work is not completed by Monday evening.
* 7 a.m. Tuesday, June 21 -- Route
B will be closed at 7 a.m. about a quarter-mile west of Route
83 north of Bolivar.
The road will remain closed overnight
into Wednesday if the work is not completed by Tuesday evening.
Crews have set out electronic message
boards on each highway to alert drivers of the road closings.
Law enforcement agencies,
fire departments and ambulance services have been notified of
the two temporary road closings.
