Citizen's Advisory Committee for the Route 61 Lincoln County Corridor
The Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) of Lincoln County was formed after MoDOT asked for volunteers at a public meeting on July 19 at Moscow Mills. The committee members are individuals who represent a diverse variety of groups and perspectives. The basic function of this committee will be to provide new and comprehensive ideas in transportation planning that will focus on a wide range of issues affecting the movement of people and goods in the future. Committee members will gather input from local residents and bring this information back to the committee for evaluation. Committee members can bring new perspectives and fresh ideas to project teams. One of the main responsibilities of the team will be to assist in the development of alternate concepts based on limitations presented due to local design, environmental impacts and funding.
