Location: Route 19 intersection near Scotts Corner east of Mexico
Work Zone Info: The majority of the work on the Scott’s Corner project is off of the main roadway and motorists should not be directly affected by the construction, however commuter parking will be limited to the west half of the roadside park during construction. Contractor working 4-10 hour days.
Project Status: 25% complete - Contractor will be working on base rock this week. There should be little to no traffic disruption during this process. Commuter parking will be limited to the west half of the roadside park during construction.

Route 36 - Progressive Contractors Job# J3P0409C & 410 - Grading and paving for new dual divided facility, minimal to no impact to traffic.
Location: From 0.6 mile west of Route 15 at Shelbina east to 0.4 mile west of Ralls County at Monroe City
Work Zone Info: Most work off of traveled roadway. County Roads 467 and 473 at Route 36 closed until further notice. Several of these operations will be reduced speeds in areas with extra truck traffic entering and exiting various locations.
Project Status: Project 55% complete - Shelby County area - Contractor will be working on erosion control maintenance, building temporary connections just east and west of the Salt River, which may require some brief periods of one-way traffic. There will be extra truck traffic entering and leaving the highway.
Marion County area - Contractor will be building temporary connections, grading roadway, erosion control and pipe work just west of Monroe City, which may involve some one-way traffic for brief periods. There will be extra truck traffic entering and leaving the highway.

Route 36 - Bross Construction Job #J2P0482 - Grading, paving and concrete girder bridges for new dual divided facility.
Location: From east of Route 63 near Macon to west of Route 15 near Shelbina
Work Zone Info: Work off of traveled roadway, two-way traffic 60 mph, no restriction or lane closures at this time. Traffic on Route 36 will be detoured to the new Route 36 alignment just north of Clarence. There will be a three-way stop at the temporary intersection of Route 36 and Route 151. The Route 151 bridge over Route 36 will remain closed while the old bridge is removed and replaced with a longer structure. Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists through this area.
Project Status: Project 50% complete - Macon/Shelby Counties - Contractor is continuing to install drainage structures at various locations throughout the project. Construction of the Route 36 bridge over the Middle Fork of Salt River is complete as well as the Route 151 bridge over Route 36. The Route 36 bridge over Crooked Creek is very near completion and construction of the Route 36 bridge over Route FF has begun. Earthwork operations continue to move forward. Additional subcontractor hired for earthwork from Lentner to Shelbina. Traffic was switched onto the new lanes around Clarence on January 21, 2009 which allows removal and reconstruction of the Route 151 bridge over Route 36.
Estimated Completion: July 2010 open to traffic; September 2010 completion.
