Route 61 - South of Wayland to Lewis County Line  (J3P0423B)

• Grading, bridges and paving to add lanes 9.1 miles from 0.7 miles north of Routes 61 and 136 Spur south to Lewis County line
• Current Project Status-See Clark County
• Route 61 closed at the Route 27/61 intersection near the Running Fox School in Clark Co.
  Message boards in place alerting motorists of the detour directing northbound 61 traffic north to Wayland then take 136 east to Route 61 north into Alexandria and Keokuk. Southbound traffic coming out of Keokuk and Alexandria detoured to 136 west to Wayland and proceed south on Route 27. This detour will be in place for approximately a year to construct the interchange at Route 27/61 intersection near the Running Fox School.
