Construction Programs
 

Andrew County Projects beginning or continuing in 2007:

Route I-29/I-229:  At various locations on Route I-29 and I-229 in District 1.  The type of work consists of pavement striping.  The total length of project is 68.965 miles.  The project will start in the Spring of 2007.

Route T:  From Route DD to end of pavement near Amazonia.  Type of work consists of plant mix bituminous surface leveling course.  The total length of the improvement being 9.346 miles.  The project is in progress and will be completed in the summer od 2007.

Route 71:  From north of Route A to south of Route B near Midway.  The type of work consists of resurfacing driving lanes nad shoulders with Superpace.  The total length of the improvement being 6.282 miles.  This project will start in the spring 2007.

Atchison County Projects beginning or continuing in 2007:

Route 136:  From the Nebraska State Line to Route 29 near Phelps City.  The type of work consists of cold milling and resurfacing with Superpave.  The total length of the improvement being 4.784 miles.  This project will start in the spring 2007.

Route A:  From Route I-29 to end of State Maintenance near Watson.  The type of work consists of plant mix bituminous surface leveling course.  The total length of the improvement being 3.68 miles.  This project will start in the summer of 2007.

Route D:  From Route A to Route 136 near Watson.  The type of work consists of plant mix bituminous surface leveling course.  The total length of the improvement being 5.03 miles.  This project will start in the summer of 2007.

 

Buchanan County Projects beginning or continuing in 2007:

Route I-29:  From just north of Route 6 (Gene Field Road) in St. Joseph to just south of the Route Z interchange in Dearborn.  The type of work consists of install guard-cable and install guard-rail improvements.  The total length of the improvements being 19.313 miles. 

Route I-229:  From the Route 59 north exit south to Route 36 in St. Joseph.  The type of work consists of replacing bridge expansion joints and safety barriers curbs.  The total length of the improvement being 1.261 miles.  This project will start in the spring of 2007.

Route I-229:  From 0.5 miles south of Route 36 in St.  Joseph.  The type of work consists of replacing bridge expansion joints and safety barrier curbs.  The total length of improvements being 0.319 miles.  This project will start in the spring 2007.

RouteI-229:  From the Route 36 interchange in St. Joseph.  The type of work consists of replacing bridge expansion joints and safety barrier curbs.  The total length of improvements being 0.257 miles.  This project will be starting and the road will be closed on May 29, 2007. 

Route 36:  0.2 miles east of the Missouri River in St. Joseph.  The type of work consists of replacing bridge expansion joints and safety barrier curbs.  The total length of improvements being 0.229 miles.  The peoject will start in the spring of 2007.

Route 36:  From Route 169 of the Missouri River in St. Joseph.  The type of works consists of replacing bridge expansion joints and painting of structural steel.  The total length of improvements being 0.142 miles.  This project will start in the spring 2007.

Route 36:  Over the Missouri River in St. Joseph.  The type of work consists of replacing bridge expansion joints and painting of structural steel.  The total length of improvements being 0.067 miles. The project will start in the spring of 2007.
