Route 60 Improvements

 

What's the problem?

Aging pavement on Route 60.

What's the solution?

The work includes resurfacing 18.5 miles of the westbound lanes of Route 60 from Morehouse to three miles west of Dexter. 

Where does it stand now?

A $3,885,263 contract was awarded to Apex Paving Co., Cape Girardeau, in January 2008.

What happens next?

Work is anticipated to start in early summer.
