MoDOT, District 8, Springfield -- Route 125 in Fair Grove will be closed during the day on Wednesday, May 4, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
The road will be closed near the Fair Grove Post Office after 8:30 a.m. and be reopened around 2 p.m. Drivers will need to find an alternate route around the road closing.
Maintenance crews will install a new concrete drain pipe across the road.
Rain will cause the project to be postponed to a later date.
Message boards have been placed along Route 125 to alert drivers to the work.
