DISTRICT 8, SPRINGFIELD - Christian County Route CC is scheduled to be closed to traffic between Cheyenne Road and the City of Nixa on Saturday and Sunday, July 24 and 25, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
A private contractor, under a permit issued by MoDOT, plans to install a new concrete concrete culvert under the road.
Drivers will have to find an alternate route around the work between sunrise Saturday and sunset Sunday.
The contractor will notify emergency service agencies of the road closing.
The work is part of a project to widen the road to three lanes along a section where a new housing development is being built.
