This dynamic message sign is one of more than 28 dynamic message signs around the major metropolitan area in Missouri that gives traveler information for crashes, scheduled construction and child abduction alerts.

IDOT, a partner in the Gateway Guide program, also has dozens of signs operational in Illinois. In 2005, St. Louis traffic will see dozens of more boards operational on I-270 and I-255.
