WHAT'S HAPPENING IN 2008 and 2009?

CURRENT/FUTURE PROJECTS:

• Route 30 and Little Brennan (Jefferson County) – Intersection improvements to relieve congestion.  This project includes dual left turn lanes on eastbound and westbound Highway 30 and a southbound right turn lane . Construction is expected to begin in April 2008.
• Route 61/67 at Richardson (Jefferson County) – Intersection improvements. These improvements include a northbound dual left turn lane and an eastbound dual right turn.  Construction should begin in April 2008.
• Route 30 from MO 141 to Route B (St. Louis County) - Signal interconnection along Highway 30 from Route 141 to Route B. Construction began in November 2007.
• MO 30, MO 231, MO 267 and MO 366 (St. Louis County) - Interconnect signals along MO 231, MO 267, MO 366. Construction began in November 2007.
• MO 30 and MO 21 (St. Louis County) - Interconnect signals along Highway 30 from Rahning to River Des Peres and along Highway 21 from Lindbergh to Route 30. Construction to begin in November 2007.
• Route 30 over Gravois Creek (St. Louis County) - Replacement of the bridge over Gravois Creek in front of Grant's Farm. The new bridge will have shoulders, a left turn lane for Grant Road and a new signal. The bridge will require a two month road closure. Anticipated notice to proceed in fall 2008.
• MO 21 from Meramec River to Route 141 from Route 30 to the Jefferson County line (St. Louis County)- Asphalt surfacing. Construction to begin spring 2008.
• I-44 from I-270 to Williams Creek (St. Louis County) - Pavement repair. Construction to begin June 2008.
• I-55 from 4500 South Broadway to Lindbergh (St. Louis County) - Replacement of three bridges and four bridge rehabs. TBD.
• Route 30 at Geyer/Sappington Barracks (St. Louis County)- Install signal at Route 30 and Geyer Road to provide a safer access and reduce accidents at this intersection.  Construction scheduled to begin in spring 2008.
• Highway 141 landslide (St. Louis County)- Addresses a landslide issue.  Construction currently underway.
• I-55 at Reavis Barracks Road (St. Louis County) - Interchange improvements widening the north ramp providing a left, left/right and right turn lane. Anticipated notice to proceed in May 2008.
• I-55 bridge over Meramec (St. Louis County) - Bridge painting. Anticipated notice to proceed November 2008.
• I-55 West Outer Road over Rock Creek (Jefferson County)- Bridge replacement over Rock Creek near Seckman Road on the I-55 West Outer Road. The bridge will have a two month closure this summer. Anticipated notice to proceed May 2008.
• Route 21 bridge over Meramec River (Jefferson County) - Asphalt bridge deck. Anticipated notice to proceed May 2009.
• Route 30 bridge over Saline Creek (Jefferson County) - Repair eastbound and westbound bridge and resurfacing. Anticipated notice to proceed May 2009.
• Route 30 bridge over Heads Creek (Jefferson County)- Rehab westbound lanes of bridge. Anticipated notice to proceed November 2009.
